Erika Duscha

Erika Duscha teaches Digital Photography, Video Production, and IB Film. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Art with an emphasis in Photography and earned her Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art at Notre Dame de Namur University. Before discovering her passion for teaching, she worked in web development and marketing communications. Through Digital Photography, Video Production, and IB Film, Ms. Duscha guides students in developing both technical skills and critical media literacy to facilitate self-expression and creative exploration. She believes in student-centered, culturally responsive teaching where the classroom is a place we learn from each other. Ms. Duscha has been teaching at Capuchino High School since 2014.
