IB Programme Overview
The International Baccalaureate Organization aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable & caring young people who help to create a better & more peaceful world through intercultural understanding & respect. To this end, the IBO works with schools, governments & international organizations to develop challenging programs of international education & rigorous assessments. These programs encourage students across the world to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences can also be right.

What is it?
The Diploma Programme is one of the most well-respected pre-collegiate programs in the world, and therefore, awards students with both personal enrichment and international recognition of success.
11th & 12th grade students may choose to participate in the Diploma Programme, a challenging and rewarding program involving rigorous study, active involvement in the community, & scholarly development through questioning & research.
Participants will:
- Take six IB level courses across the six groups of study
- Take the Theory of Knowledge course
- Complete the Extended Essay
- Complete CAS (Creativity, Action, Service)
- Students completing DP courses may earn college credit upon successful completion of assessment.
- Students who complete required coursework, the Extended Essay, & CAS hours will be eligible to earn a International Baccalaureate Diploma.
