IB Biology HL & SL*
Grade: 11 & 12 (2 year course + May Exam)
IB Biology is a two-year course that combines academic study with the acquisition of practical and laboratory skills. There is an emphasis on open-ended laboratory investigations that the students design themselves. The course will include topics in cells, biochemistry, genetics, ecology, human physiology, plant physiology, evolution and biotechnology.
IB Environmental Systems and Societies*
Grade : 11 or 12 (1 year course + May Exam)
The Environmental Systems & Societies (ESS) course is a one year, interdisciplinary course which is unique in that it contains various sciences, coupled with a societal viewpoint, all intertwined to help you understand the environment and its sustainability. Through studying ESS, students will be provided with a coherent perspective of the interrelationships between environmental systems and societies; one that enables them to adopt an informed personal response to the wide range of pressing environmental issues that they will inevitably come to face.
