Ron Rossi

Coach Ronald Rossi is entering his third season as the Head Coach of Capuchino High School’s Girls Varsity Basketball program. With 30 years of coaching experience —including 25 years at the high school level and 5 years at the collegiate level — Coach Rossi brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and passion to the court.

His coaching philosophy centers on two controllable elements: Attitude and Effort. Hebelieves that players and coaches alike can consistently bring these qualities every day, both on and off the court. As an initial trainer for the Positive Coaching Alliance based out of Stanford University, Coach Rossi promotes positivity, character building, and teamwork as essential parts of athletic development.Discipline on both offense and defense, combined with a strong sense of family and
team culture, has been a cornerstone of his success.

Under his guidance, teams have reached the playoffs in 22 of his 27 seasons. Coach Rossi also takes great pride in helping student-athletes continue their basketball
journeys beyond high school, including those moving on to college or junior college programs with scholarship opportunities.“I truly enjoy and feel blessed for my time at Capuchino,” Coach Rossi says. “I’m grateful for the support from our administration, the effort of our students, the dedicationof parents, and the strong sense of community that makes Capuchino special.”
