Special Education Services

Special Education services may include, but are not limited to:

Applied Academic Curriculum for Autism

Customizable curriculum services for individuals with autism and special needs.

Inclusion in the General Education Setting

Inclusion secures opportunities for students with disabilities to learn alongside their non-disabled peers in general education classrooms.  Inclusion Specialists collaborate directly with general education teachers to determine, design and implement learning supports to that empower disabled students to meet their individualized learning goals.

Specialized Academic Instruction

Core academic subjects and Directed Studies classes are provided by a Special Education teacher with reduces class size and individualized instruction.  

Severe Disorders of Language Program

Special Education students with language processing deficits receive instruction specialized academic classes taught by a Speech and Language Specialist.

Speech and Language

Students with speech and language disabilities receive services from a speech and language pathologist.

Vocational and Transition Services

A Vocational Specialist provides assessment, instruction and field trips that support post high school  vocational and transition planning.

School Psychologist Services

Intervention and assessment for students in Special Education

Wellness Counseling

Individual counseling provided by a licensed mental health therapist
