Four Year College and University Applications

UC Application:

Will be available online October 1st. Complete the application online or download and print a paper version. UC online application – http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/. UC applications must be postmarked (or submitted online) between November 1-30.

The UC Application Workshop will be held in Career Center in the Library on Thursday, Oct. 16th from 1:40 to 3:10 PM.

 

CSU Applications:

Will be available online October 1st. You can complete the application online or download and print a paper version. CSU online application – www.csumentor.edu. Applications to popular campuses must be postmarked (or submitted online) between Oct 1 and November 30. Other CSU campuses have later due dates. Check the CSU Mentor page “Application Filing Status Report” in October to learn campus deadlines.

The CSU Application Workshop will be held in the Computer Lab in the Library on Tuesday, Oct. 14th from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.

Independent (private) schools:
Most independent schools post on-line applications on their web sites. Visit www.naicu.edu for applications, links to and information on CA “independent” colleges and universities. Due dates: Independent schools set their own due dates. Most Early Action or Early Decision deadlines are in November.  Check the Common Application website for more information about applying to Independent and Private Colleges and Universities.

***Applying to USC? USC has a 2-part application. Part 1 is due October 15. Download from www.usc.edu.***

The Independent/Private Application Workshop will be held in the Computer labin the Library on Thursday, Nov. 6 from 1:40 to 3:10 PM.

 

The SMUHSD College Fair is scheduled for the evening of October 28th at
Hillsdale High School. Representatives from over 100 colleges will be available to answer questions. Plan to attend and have a great time exploring your future options.
Everyone is invited. It’s never to early to research college plans.

Community College Applications:

Seniors who are planning to attend a Community College do not have to take the above tests. They will need to take the Math/English Placement Tests at the Community College. Seniors who are planning to attend community college should sign-up on the community college clipboard in the Career Center.

An application workshop for the community colleges will be held in March (date to be announced).
