**You may have heard on the news recently that California State University will be capping enrollment at 450,000 students system wide. This represents about 10,000 fewer students than are currently enrolled. We believe that students can prepare for this by applying broadly within the CSU system. There are currently campuses that have been under enrolled, campuses that will continue to offer admission generously. Students should to apply to CSU by November 30th, while some campuses will take applications after that it is safest to apply early and broadly. In spite of this news, CSU remains one of the most accessible and best values in higher education. If you are concerned about your senior applying broadly please call or send your student to see their counselor.**
