Z-Axis Motion

- Higher energy than lateral motion.
- Usually captured with great depth of field.
- Accelerated by wide angle lens.
- Slowed by narrow angle lens.

Lateral Motion

- Action moves from one side to another as the camera follows.
- Less impact than Z-axis motion because action doesn’t come towards lens.
- Remember to give adequate lead room to subject.
- Harder to frame than Z-axis motion.

Close-ups in Motion

- The most difficult to capture.
- Keep camera as still as possible.
- Zoom out to capture more of the motion in the shot
